MCM Birmingham Announces Pokémon Go Partnership

As MCM Birmingham looks to add even more to it’s packed event the latest edition is an exciting prospect for all you Pokémon trainers. For the first time, MCM Birmingham is partnering with Pokémon Go to bring an exclusive set of perks to their convention.

Perks include double stardust, 4-hour lures and the chance to catch some exclusive increased pokémon spawns. Although it’s currently unclear how rare these spawns may be and whether they will impact community day or the currently running equinox event. Both of which also take place this weekend.

World Geekly News has reached out to MCM Birmingham to clarify this but has yet to receive a response.

MCM Birmingham takes place this weekend over the 23rd and 24th of March at the Birmingham NEC and features stars and talent such as Asa Butterfield, some of the cast of The Umbrella Academy and Felicia Day. We had a blast at our last outing to MCM and if you want to gather your incense lures and pokeballs and attend the event tickets can be found here.
